Five Things: April 24th 2021

Hello everyone! It feels like long time no talk, which it kind of has been. Unfortunately I got unexpectedly busy this week as I was ill, and studying for my exam Thursday took more brainpower than expected. Nevertheless, I am back and ready to begin writing the posts again. It’s a shame too because I was quite excited for the posts this week, but I’ll just push them back to next week (hint: it’s ~Taylor week~ baby)!

Five Things: April 10th 2021

Happy April 10th, everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather and feeling the promise of spring. Hopefully it’ll be a better spring than last year, leading to a better summer than last year as well.

It’s almost been two months since I’ve had this blog, which is just so fun. This blog brings me a lot of joy, because it’s a place where I can write my semi-structured thoughts. Without further ado, please enjoy the recap of my week!

The Year of Yes: Month One

It’s still kind of surreal to me that I embarked on this journey about a month ago, and I’ve actually kind of stuck with it? I’m someone who loves beginning things… I’m always coming up with new ideas. The harder part for me is actually doing them and finishing them. Nonetheless, I’m ready to write my one month update of my Year of Yes.

I’ve decided that the best structure for these posts is to write about each challenge, how it went, my thoughts, and then how I feel about the whole thing overall. That way, we can look at the micro but also zoom out to look at the macro.

Five Things: March 20th 2021

It felt like an incredibly short week, perhaps because of Daylight Savings Time beginning and perhaps because it was March Break and time off always goes too fast, but here we are on another Saturday, talking about my week. All in all it was a fairly good one, and now it’s the first day of spring! Spring and its symbolism are really my favourites, so I’m feeling very happy.

(Side note: it’s not a very cheerful post. I think I’m struggling a little right now. Sorry for the bad vibes, but I’m just being honest.)

Five Things: March 13th 2021

Hello everyone and happy March Break! For… just my class, maybe? Since March Break was pushed back to April for high school students, and Reading Week for uni students was in February. I’m trying to work out if it’s a good thing I have time off when others don’t or not. On one hand, can’t hang out with my friends. On the other, can’t hang out with my friends anyway…

Five Things: February 20th 2021

I think weekly update posts are a staple of blogs I love. They’re a fun way of writing about your week in a way that’s simple and honest.

At first I was going to focus on only positive things, but that didn’t seem like a complete picture of my life. Hopefully most things are positive, but I’m open to writing about it all: the good, the bad, and the ugly.
